Integration of an Industrial Robot
An industrial robot is an incomplete machine. The applicable requirements, for a secure bringing on the market in the European Economic Area, are described in the Annex I of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. For a secure operation and to achieve the CE conformity, the industrial robot must be safely integrated into a system concept or into a production process. Only in this way, the safety of the robot cell and a safe operation of the plant can be guaranteed under the legally applicable aspects.
