With a load capacity of 2000 kg, the LR-2000 is suitable for many heavy-duty industrial robots in the medium payload range. The expandability to any range also makes it possible to set up complete production lines.
The compact design takes up little space and offers maximum accessibility. The linear units are made from one piece and are available in lengths of 1 m and 3 m. In the LR-2000 Basic variant, the linear axis is also available without the secondary encoder.
The LR is driven by two Siemens gearmotors — as a master-slave version. When positioning, both motors are clamped together. As a result, a much higher stiffness is achieved. Dynamic and high-precision applications can thus be easily implemented with little time spent optimising accuracy.
