This saves costs and materials compared to new production and enables new material combinations. The Mabi robotic robot with a processing radius of 2.25 meters is suitable for small and large components and, in addition to classic laser powder deposition welding, can also use the EHLA process for rotationally symmetrical components
The adaptive motor spindle makes it possible to preprocess, weld and post-cut components in one set-up, with the switch from welding to milling being fully automatic. The robot offers flexible 8-axis production of complex geometries with an accessibility of around two meters and a turning and swivel unit as a processing table. Thanks to Siemens NX offline programming, movements can be precisely simulated and programmed, regardless of the manufacturing process.
