An industrial robot for CNC milling with a repeat accuracy of 0.02 mm and a pose accuracy of 0.15 mm. The MAX-100-2.25-P It can compete with some CNC milling machines.
In the MABI Robotic demonstration cell in Veltheim, Switzerland, tests are carried out continuously, whether for internal use or specifically on behalf of customers. This ensures that customer requirements are met in line with quality.
The system is equipped with a WEISS HSK-A50 spindle with an output of 16.5 kW and a Siemens SinumErik 840D sl. Due to the extremely high repeatability of 0.02 mm, and this bidirectional, the robot system can easily compete with many a CNC milling machine. In combination with the MLR-2500-P linear axis, the working space is extended to 6x2 meters. A repeat accuracy of 0.02 mm and a pose accuracy of 0.15 mm, in a working area of 6x2 m, is a remarkable achievement when you consider that a general tolerance of ±0.8 mm applies for 400 mm length.
In the video, an aluminum component, which is mounted on the MMT-500-DD rotary swivel table, is milled. Convince yourself of the potential of this plant.
